03-09-2015 :  Intermountain Sign & Safety LLC., Nippon Carbide Industries (USA) Inc., Avery Dennison, and 3M Company were sent cure letters on 3/6/15 for noncompliance due to delinquent sales reporting.
12-03-2014 :  Contract Admin changed to Jennifer Burbage. See below for bi weekly broadcast that will be sent out requesting stakeholders for the rebid of 00609 (rebid will be under 10214): Stakeholders Sought for Sign Sheet Materials and Guide Posts (00609) rebid The Sign Sheeting Materials contract (#00609) final term ends September 14, 2015. Enterprise Services is seeking stakeholder participation for the rebid of Sheeting Materials and Guide Posts. 08-26-2014 : PRICE ADJUSTMENTAlpines price adjustment request of 4.9% has been approved by management and will become effective 9.1.2014.
08-05-2014 :  3M has signed an amendment agreeing to offer Diamond Grade DG, Series 4000 on contract per WSDOT's request. The contract price will be $3.15/sq ft. I will be writing up the memo to file and getting unit manager signature on it today. The amendment is effective upon DES management signature.
07-17-2014 : CONTRACT EXTENSION STATUSThe final 1 year contract extension is complete, with 6 of the 7 vendors agreeing to extend. Energy Absorption is the only vendor that will no longer be on contract at the end of this term. Energy Absorption had very low contract usage, so it is not anticipated that this will affect the contract usage, or impact our customers. The new contract term will be effective September 15, 2014 and run through September 14, 2015.
07-11-2014 : CONTRACT EXTENSION STATUSContract extension offers were sent to all vendors on May 20th. At this time all vendors have signed the extension offer with the exception of Energy Absorption. I will try to reach out to that vendor again, and will fianlize the extension process next week.
07-10-2014 : PRICE ADJUSTMENTAlpine has requested a 4.9% price increase due to a rise in cost passed down from the manufacturer. I am compiling the documentation and will be passing it onto the Managment Analyst to review by the end of the week.
06-10-2014 :  WSDOT has requested an items addition on this contract with 3M and Avery Dennison, for type XI items that recently became available. I will be sending out the amendment to both Avery Dennison and 3M this week.
03-22-2013 : CONTRACT EXTENSIONAll vendors have signed the 18 month extention offer. The new contract term will become effective April 1 2013 through September 14, 2014.
03-12-2013 : CONTRACT EXTENSIONI have received 18 month extensions from Alpine Products, Traffic Safety Supply Co, Nippon Carbide, 3M and Avery Dennison Corporation. I have yet to receive the signed extension from Energy Absorption Systems, and have called them and sent another email hoping to get a response by the end of the day. If I do not receive a response I will move forward with the extension of the other five contractors.
02-07-2013 : CONTRACT EXTENSIONAt this time I have only received signed extension amendments from Traffic Safety and Supply and Nippon Carbide. I will be calling the other contract vendors today to inquire as to why I have yet to receive the signed amendments back.
01-10-2013 : CONTRACT EXTENSIONA contract extension will be sent out to all vendors, on 1/11/2013 with a due date of 01/31/2013. I expect no break in contract coverage.
09-07-2011 : CONTRACT EXTENSIONSign Sheeting contract term has been extended through March 31, 2013. All three vendors 3M, Nippon Carbide and Avery Dennison agreed to extend their participation through the extension term. The new Sign Sheeting end date coincides with the term end date for category B Flexible Guideposts for administrative efficiencies.
07-27-2011 : CONTRACT EXTENSIONFeedback indicated product, service and pricing satisfaction by contract users. Extension documents have been forwarded to all three vendors. The extension period will be 18 months to bring this category contract term in line with category "B" guideposts. Requested amendment return date from vendors is August 15, 2011.
05-16-2011 : CONTRACT STATUSRequested feedback has not been received, so requests will be directly sent to known customers. If no issues are discovered through feedback the sign sheeting contractors will be offered an extension in June. Current contract term expires in mid September
04-05-2011 : CONTRACT STATUSContract , pricing and ordering information has been posted to the GA website. Guidepost contractors have been asked to verify their sales, ordering, customer service and payment contact information.
03-29-2011 : CONTRACT CHANGEFlexible Guideposts and Reflective Sheeting Strips have been awarded as category "B" of this contract effective April 1, 2011. The award was made to multiple vendors, details will be posted online as part "B" of 00609 before the effective date.
02-24-2011 :  We are soliciting sign sheeting contract performance evaluations in advance of sign sheeting contract actions later this year. Please submit input before May 1, 2011. The current term for this contract expires on Sept. 14, 2011.
02-23-2011 : CONTRACT STATUSThe Flexible Guideposts and Sheeting Strips commodities have been added as 00609 (Product Category B). Bids have been received and evaluated. Award is expected approx March 1, 2011. Updates and the new contract award information will be posted on our website under contract "00609 Category. B"
10-12-2010 :  A second product group is being added for flexible guideposts (00609-B). The solicitation process has begun and award is anticipated for late November or early December.
09-18-2009 :  Contract information summary has been distributed to primary customers and posted to the GA website. Additionally the original bid document and pricing and ordering information was posted on September 18, 2009. Contract information sheets will be forwarded to all vendor service contacts for continuity of pricing and service expectations.
09-07-2009 :  Contract was awarded September 4, 2009 with an effective date of September 15, 2009. Partial awards were made to three vendors (3M, Avery Dennison and Nippon Carbide) by categories on which they were low bid. Bidders have been notified and all have been sent a bid tab as requested.
07-16-2009 :  IFB bids we
