* Since 12/19/2010, were you unable to work for 13 (or more) weeks in a row due to any injury or illness?
Dot Since 10/1/2014, did you work in more than one state?
Dot Since 10/1/2014, did you work in only one state other than Washington?
When to apply
Your unemployment-benefits claim will always start Sunday of the calendar week you apply.
If you don't want your claim to start yet, wait until next week (Sunday through Saturday) to apply. If you want your claim to start before this week, call the claims center at 800-318-6022 to apply.
Ex-military personnel
If you separated from the military in the last 18 months, you must physically be in Washington state to use this online application.
Victims of domestic violence, stalking, sexual assault, or trafficking
You can use this application, but your address will be part of your record with us. All notices we mail to you, your employer, and other interested parties will show your address.
Sign up for the Address Confidentiality Program before applying for unemployment benefits if you'd like your address to be kept private.
To apply, you need:
Dot Your Social Security number.
Dot The business names, mailing addresses, phone numbers, and dates you worked for all of your employers since 10/1/2014, including part-time and temporary jobs. If you worked for more than 16 employers in the last 18 months, call the claims center at 800-318-6022 to apply.
Look for your confirmation number
If you exit the application before receiving a confirmation number, any information you have entered on the application will be lost. Your application will not be accepted.
