The Green-Economy Jobs Report is a comprehensive look at statewide private- and public-sector green jobs. We produce the report in accordance with the state’s Evergreen Jobs Act (RCW 43.330.370).
What is a green job?
Green jobs promote environmental protection and clean energy by:
- Increasing energy efficiency.
- Producing renewable energy.
- Preventing and reducing environmental pollution.
- Providing mitigation or cleanup of environmental pollution.

What is the data source of the report?
We survey firms in private- and public-sector industries. We use data from the survey results to build estimates presented in the report.
