WorkSource Performance Dashboard Reports

The quarterly performance dashboards provide meaningful data and analysis to WorkSource system leaders to develop better customer service strategies. We envision every customer using this information speaking the same performance language, from the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) and our Governor to the Workforce Development Council (WDC) board members and contractors. Together, these common conversations will lead to improved service delivery for all WorkSource customers in our state.

What are the data sources for the performance dashboards?

WorkSource and Employment Security Department administrative records are utilized in the dashboards, as well as data from the U.S. Census Bureau, the Bureau of Labor Statistics and the Washington State Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction.

What else should I know about the dashboards?

The state produces quarterly dashboards for statewide performance and 12 individual workforce development areas (WDAs). The statewide dashboards contain the indicators and final data for each quarter. You can also download and manipulate the entire Excel file (dashboard library). To change the data displayed for the tabs labeled Area Indicators and Area Measures, go to the Area Data tab and use the blue dropdown box at the top to select the desired WDA. Previous quarterly reports are also in the dashboard library.
