Occupational Employment and Wage Estimates

Occupational Employment and Wage Estimates are statewide and regional employment counts and wages for more than 800 occupations in Washington state.



Our Occupational Employment and Wage Estimates are counts of workers and entry-level, average and experienced-worker wage estimates for more than 800 occupations. Data are displayed statewide, by metropolitan statistical area and for the balance of the state.

What is the source of the occupation and wage estimates?

We generate the estimates based on data we gather in a survey of Washington employers.

How often are the estimates updated?

Annually.

How can I use this information?

  • To set wages for employees.

  • To compare wages regionally.

  • To compare wages by occupation.

  • For career planning.
