|Description||State rules used by cities and counties for development of shoreline master programs (SMPs). These locally-developed, state-approved programs regulate development and use of shorelines along rivers and larger streams, lakes over 20 acres, and marine waterfronts.
*Part I: Lists local governments that must prepare SMP and establishes recordkeeping requirements for Ecology.
*Part II: Procedures for approving and adopting SMPs and amendments.
*Part III: Guidelines for shoreline master programs.
*Part IV: Ocean Management Guidelines.
