These regulations designate solid wastes that are dangerous or hazardous to the environment and public health; provide the rules for surveillance, good management, and monitoring of dangerous wastes; establishes the permitting, siting, design, operation, closure, post-closure, etc. requirements for dangerous/hazardous waste transfer, treatment, management, storage, and/or disposal facilities.
