Part III of the guidelines is a reference manual for dam owners to use in developing plans for operation, monitoring, annual inspection and long term maintenance of their facilities. The manual was prepared by the Association of State Dam Safety Officials and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.

This document is the revised version of publication number 89-38.
