Description Explains data sources for determining the treatability of hazardous waste under the Domestic Sewage Exclusion of WAC 173-303-071.The domestic sewage exclusion was revised in the 1994 amendments to the Dangerous Waste Regulations. The exclusion specifies that treatability must be determined for the waste before mixing it with domestic sewage. This document reviews the data sources used to support treatability determinations, and is meant as a guide for permit writers, sewer authorities, applicants, and consultants.
