Description This report is the first of the issue papers created for the Multiuser Confined Disposal Sites Program Study. It addresses the assessment of needs and includes the following objectives:
1. To identify categories of potential users of multi user sites.
2. To identify existing sites used only for disposal of dredged material and sites where dredged material has been disposed of along with other materials.
3. To estimate the volume of dredged material needing confined disposal over the next 20 years by user category and by geographic area of Puget Sound.
4. To document potential new sites.
