|Description||This report delivers the initial results of the Department of Ecology and Department of Commerce’s development of a program to assist with the investigation and cleanup of contamination for the development of affordable housing. Contains information on pilot program recommendations, applications for existing affordable housing related grant opportunities, and demand for future affordable housing related cleanups. In addition to those required data, this report also includes examples of how we are already using the funds the Legislature made available in the capital budget, insights into the relationship between contamination and the cost of real estate development, and feedback from local governments and affordable housing developers.|
