Description This Policy provides guidance to Washington State Department of Ecology staff. The guidance addresses when and how to exercise their authority under the Model Toxics Control Act to require a potentially liable person to conduct or pay for remedial actions.

This document was revised in December 2016 without Attachment A (Enforcement Order Boilerplate). Attachment A was added in March 2017.
