Description This Policy provides guidance to Washington State Department of Ecology staff. The guidance addresses when and how to exercise their authority under the Model Toxics Control Act to enter into an agreed order with a potentially liable person or prospective purchaser to conduct or pay for remedial actions.

The online version of this Policy was revised March 2017 to include formerly missing Attachment A (Agreed Order Boilerplate and Example Scope of Work and Schedule). No other changes were made to this Policy since it was established December 2016.
