|Description||The Washington State Department of Ecology is developing standardized methods called “model remedies” to clean up contaminated sites. Model remedies can help streamline and accelerate the pace of cleanups. This guidance document (often referred to as “Model Remedies for Groundwater”) discusses twelve model remedies for sites where groundwater has been impacted by petroleum.
This guidance was originally published as a draft for public comment in May 2016 and finalized in August 2016. It was revised again in August 2017. You’re invited to comment on this revised draft through September 22, 2017, by contacting Mark Gordon at firstname.lastname@example.org or visiting the Draft for Public Comment website above.
