Description Water quality data indicated that the North Fork Palouse River has insufficient dissolved oxygen (DO) and high pH that do not protect fish and other aquatic life. Ecology developed this total maximum daily load report and implementation plan to explain the conditions causing the impairment and the steps needed to restore the river to conditions that meet state water quality standards to support aquatic life use.
