1324-N Impoundment & 1324-NA Percolation Pond Post Closure Unit

[TSD ID#: T-1-2] Located near Hanford’s N Reactor, 1324-N was a lined settling pond and 1324-NA was an unlined percolation pond. The unit received at least 1.5 million pounds of corrosive waste. 1324-NA was used from 1977 to 1991, and 1324-N was used from 1986 to 1988. The liner and contaminated soil have been removed and the unit has been backfilled with clean soil.
