[TSD ID#: D-2-9] Located in Hanford’s 200 West Area, this unit has two large trenches that store, treat, and dispose of radioactive and chemically dangerous waste from Hanford work. The trenches are lined to collect any liquids leaching from the waste for removal and treatment. The waste includes waste in drums and spent equipment.
