[TSD ID#: S-2-8 and T-2-8] Located in Hanford’s 200 East Area, these facilities handle liquid wastes from groundwater remediation and the condensate from the 242-A Evaporator. LERF stores liquid wastes, and ETF treats them. LERF’s storage capacity is 88.5 million liters. The unit began operating in the early 1990s.
