216-A-29 Ditch Closure Unit Group 11 (CUG-11)

[ TSD ID#: D-2-3 ] Located north of PUREX in Hanford’s 200 East Area, it is an unlined ditch, 3,600 feet long, varying from 2 to 16 feet deep. The ditch led from PUREX to other trenches, which discharged to B Pond. The ditch received waste from 1955 to 1986, and was stabilized in 1991.
