Abstract:
Streams where populations of New Zealand Mudsnails have been confirmed. Created as a featureclass and linear event table based on the current version of the National Hydrography Dataset (NHD).
Purpose:
The purpose is to provide up-to-date information on New Zealand mudsnail locations throughout the state to help with planning required for cleaning and decontaminating field gear.

USGS nonindigenous aquatic species database <http://nas.er.usgs.gov/>. On March 24, 2014 Streams of Extreme Concern was converted to use the National Hydrographic Dataset (NHD) as its base layer.

This layer defines water course entities. A set of attributes identify and describe these features. Descriptive identifiers include a set of unique watercourse numbers, water course IDs, upper and lower address values, and an associated river reach number. Other information included in these attributes are a stream source code for watercourse entities, a watercourse name if applicable, and topological information about each segment. An additional set of attributes is included within the coverage's Route Attribute Table (.RAT) Some attributes overlap with the coverage's Arc Attribute Table while others are unique.
