Comment:

SRR: Northeast. The bridge u/s of the NWR HQ is closest to the S&T site but the road is closed during the winter. The HQ area is marshy at times. We sampled year-round at HQ until fall 2011, then at the bridge except when the road was closed. Beginning fa

Location:

On east Hwy 20, turn right at Co.Hwy. 3893 at sign “Little Pend Oreille National Wildlife Refuge 13 miles.” Go right on Artman-Gibson Rd. After 1.7 mi go left onto Kitt-Narcisse Road. After 2.2 mi, go right onto Bear Creek Rd. If the gate is closed, at 3.3 mi, park at refuge HQ and walk to river. If the gate is open, continue 0.8 mi to the bridge.
