Comment:

7/1/2011: The station was moved across the river to access from Birchfield Rd. Parking at Yakima Sportsman State Park. A bank or wading sample is collected about 200 meters upstream of the parking area. Previous Location Notes: This site has been moved

Location:

HIGHWAY 24 BRIDGE just east of Yakima. Nob Hill Blvd, which bisects Yakima east to west, turns into Hwy 24. Turn north at University Pkwy on the east side of the Yakima River. Turn west at Birchfield road and proceed until the road dead ends in the parking area for Yakima Sportsman State Park.
