CLARC Data Tables – July 2015

These PDF and Excel tables contain information that can help Washington State Department of Ecology site managers and other stakeholders determine cleanup levels for hazardous waste sites.

In PDF format, there are two separate tables for each environmental medium (air, groundwater, soil, and surface water; one table for Method B and one for Method C), a table containing chemical-specific parameters used to calculate cleanup levels, a master table combining all this information, and a document with explanatory notes.

The single Excel table contains all of this information, separated in different tabs.

Information in these files may change as needed. If you have downloaded the files for offline use, be sure to check the home page and this page for updates to ensure you have the latest information.

If you have trouble finding your chemicals in the data tables, here are a few tips.

1. CAS numbers. Look for the chemical using its CAS number. A chemical substance may have many different names, but most have only one CAS number. However, seven substances have different CAS numbers in CLARC and the EPA’s Regional Screening Level (RSL) Tables:

  • antimony potassium tartrate – 28300-74-5 (CLARC); 11071-15-1 (RSL)
  • chlordane – 57-74-9 (CLARC); 12789-03-6 (RSL)
  • chlorthiophos – 21923-23-9 (CLARC); 60238-56-4 (RSL)
  • hexachlorodibenzo-p-dioxin – 19408-74-3 (CLARC); no CAS (RSL)
  • perchlorate and perchlorate salts – 7601-90-3 (CLARC); 14797-73-0 (RSL)
  • polybrominated biphenyls – 67774-32-7 (CLARC); 59536-65-1 (RSL)
  • propylene glycol monoethyl ether – 52125-53-8 (CLARC); 1569-02-4 (RSL)
