To all EDRS Users: EDRS will be unavailable Thursday, May 23, 2019 from 6:00 pm to 11:59 pm due to maintenance. Please plan your workflow accordingly. You will be logged out during the 30 minutes prior to the start of the scheduled maintenance.
Important Notice. WA Tech will roll out security updates that may affect access for some EDRS users. To avoid access interruption, make sure you are using the current version of your internet browser. If you experience issues logging into EDRS have your IT department update your browser to the current version or review the How to Disable TLS 1.0 document in the How to Section of EDRS.
When entering cause of death, avoid ambiguity, report additional information about the etiology whenever possible. Example: Do not just enter DEMENTIA as cause of death, enter LEWY BODY DEMENTIA or ALZHEIMER'S DEMENTIA.
Recent upgrades to EDRS included a label change on the cause of death tab. The label was previously SUBMIT FOR APPROVAL and has been changed to DATA VERIFICATION. The function of the button remains the same. This change was done to reduce the amount of certifiers clicking Submit for Approval and thinking they had signed the record.
