CHILD Profile 2005 Parent Survey Results Available

We are excited to announce the release of the 2005 CHILD Profile Parent Survey Results.

The report shows respondents' high satisfaction with the materials. Specifically, the results indicate that respondents said they use the CHILD Profile materials to help make health behavior changes and to remind them about important information for the health and safety of their children. These results
include:

  • 85% of respondents said they read the materials;
  • 60% said they use the mailings as reminders about specific issues, including getting their children immunized on time and going to their next well-child visits;
  • 46% of those responding to the 2-year survey said the mailings "teach me new things." See the report for results about those citing behavior changes to specific information in the mailings.

This large statewide survey, undertaken every three years, provides pertinent information about the usefulness of the CHILD Profile health promotion materials sent to parents.
