Action:
Deep River (Wahkiakum County) will be closed for salmon and steelhead fishing.
Effective date:
April 24, through June 15, 2010.
Species affected:
Salmon and steelhead
Location:
Deep River (Wahkiakum County) from the mouth to town bridge.
Reason for action:
The fisheries below Bonneville Dam, including Select Areas, are close to the preseason guidelines for spring chinook prior to a run size update. Fisheries are being managed conservatively so as not to exceed the preseason guidelines.
