Northern Willapa Bay re-opens to recreational crab harvest

Reason for action:
Results from the last two Department of Health samples showed that all crab tested were below the action level of 30 parts per million, meeting the requirements necessary for Department of Health to reopen the recreational crab fishery.
Other information:
The commercial fishery in the area will also reopen for crab harvest. The southern portion of Willapa Bay remains open to recreational and commercial crab fishing. Department of Health will continue to test all coastal areas for domoic acid.
