Open winter fishery on Patterson Lake

Action: Open Patterson Lake (Winthrop) to fishing

Effective dates: Jan. 1, 2008 through April 30, 2008

Species affected: All gamefish, except bull trout

Location: Patterson Lake, located west of the town of Winthrop in Okanogan County

Reason for action: This winter season is to take advantage of an abundant yellow perch population, which is beginning to compromise the trout fishery in Patterson Lake.

Other Information: Standard gear and daily limit rules are in effect, anglers should consult the latest pamphlet for individual species daily limits.

Note: Patterson Lake is closed to fishing for and retention of bull trout.
