FISHING RULE CHANGE

Action:
Increase daily limit to 3 adult coho on the Klickitat River.
Effective dates:
Nov. 24 through Dec. 31, 2006.
Species affected:
Coho salmon
Location:
Klickitat River from mouth to Fisher Hill Bridge. Fisher Hill Bridge is about 3 miles upstream from the mouth.
Reasons for action:
The return of coho is strong and escapement goals will be met.
Other information:
Minimum size 12". Salmon daily limit is 6 fish but no more than 3 adults except only 2 adult chinook. Both adipose clipped and non-adipose clipped salmon may be retained. Non-buoyant lure restriction is in effect.
