FISHING RULE CHANGE

Action:
The "LaPush Late Season Area", a portion of Marine Area 3, is open for retention of two Chinook as part of the two salmon daily limit.
Effective dates:
October 1-8, 2006.
Species affected:
Chinook salmon.
Location:
That portion of Marine Area 3 north of 47°50'00"N. latitude and south of 48°0'00"N. latitude referred to as the "LaPush Late Season Area" in the sportfishing rules pamphlet.
Reasons for action:
More angling opportunity can be provided while staying within quotas for Chinook and coho.
Other information:
The LaPush Late Season fishery will close beginning at 12:01am on October 9 as previously scheduled.
