Action:
Open area south of Queets River (47 deg, 31.70 N lat.) to 47 deg, 00.00 N lat. and east of 124 deg 40.00 W long. from 12:01 a.m. each Friday through 11:59 p.m. each Saturday, until remaining coastal recreational halibut quota is taken

Pacific halibut

Northern nearshore area in Marine Area 2 (Westport)
Reason for action:
There is sufficient quota remaining to accommodate incidental catches of halibut in this small area, but insufficient quota to provide a targeted offshore halibut fishing opportunity
