Species affected: Salmon

Effective date: Oct. 1 through October 15, 2004

Reason for action: The recreational fishery for hatchery steelhead in the Okanogan River (including this area) will open Oct. 1. Once the steelhead fishery opens, night closure and selective gear rules (except that it remains lawful to fish from floating device equipped with a motor) are required to be consistent with regulations for steelhead.
