Marine Area 4 (Neah Bay) reopens to salmon fishing.

The daily limit will be two salmon, but only one chinook. Chum and wild coho must be released. Chinook may not be retained east of the Bonilla-Tatoosh line. The chinook minimum size is 26 inches and the coho minimum size is 16 inches. The season is expected to run through the original season closing date of Sept. 19.
Reason for action:
Enough coho remain on the Neah Bay coho quota to reopen the fishery. Angler participation and success rates were lower than expected during the last week of the fishery.
