Action:
The daily limit of salmon is one.
Effective date:
Jan. 1 through March 31, 2019.
Species affected:
Salmon.
Location:
Marine Area 10 (Seattle/Bremerton).
Reason for action:
Based on abundance estimates, there is not sufficient salmon available to maintain a fishery though the planned season. A daily limit of one salmon will increase the likelihood that the winter fishery will remain open for the entire winter season.
Additional information:
Chinook minimum size is 22 inches. Release all wild Chinook salmon.
