Action:
Closes adult chinook retention in the lower Columbia River.
Effective dates:
July 1, 2017 until further notice.
Species affected:
Adult chinook
Location:
The Columbia River from Buoy 10 upstream to Bonneville Dam.
Reason for action:
The harvest guideline of 2,656 fish has been reached.
Other information:
The lower Columbia River remains open for hatchery chinook jacks, sockeye, and hatchery steelhead.
