FISHING RULE CHANGE

Action:
Opens Cases Pond to all anglers and extends the season by one month.
Effective Dates:
Nov. 1 through Dec. 31, 2016.
Species affected:
All fish.
Location:
Cases Pond (Pacific County).
Reason for action:
Cases Pond previously was scheduled to close Nov. 30 and has been open only to anglers under the age of 15. The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife plants 600 catchable-size (10 to 12 inches) rainbow trout in Cases Pond. This rule change will increase winter recreational opportunity.
Other information:
Cases Pond will be closed to fishing on Jan. 1, 2017.
