Action:
Open the South Pond at Bogachiel Hatchery to trout fishing.
Effective date:
May 21, through Sept. 15, 2016.
Species affected:
Hatchery Rainbow Trout.
Location:
The Bogachiel Hatchery South Pond.
Other information:
The pond will be planted with catchable rainbow trout, and open 7 days per week. Statewide rules apply with a daily limit 5 trout.
Reason for action:
Because of recent restrictions to general public access to Wentworth Lake, hatchery trout normally planted into Wentworth Lake are being planted in the South Pond at Bogachiel Hatchery.
