FISHING RULE CHANGE

Action:
Close Lake Aberdeen to fishing by the public 12 hours prior to the kids-only fishing event. Lake Aberdeen will reopen at 5:30 a.m. on May 14, 2016.
Effective dates:
5:30 p.m. May 13 through 5:30 a.m. May 14, 2016.

Lake Aberdeen (Grays Harbor Co.) Montesano, Washington

All game fish
Reason for action:
This rule change is necessary to ensure a safe and successful kids fish-in event. The fish will be planted the evening prior to the event to better acclimate them to the lake.
Other Information:
Organizers of this event donate time, effort, and money. The organizers also help with other fishing events in local lakes. The expected participation for this year's event is approximately 100 hundred kids. Lake Aberdeen is open the fourth Saturday in April through October 31 with the exception of this closure.
