Action:
Rainbow Lake (Columbia Co.) will be closed to fishing.
Dates:
April 11 through April 15, 2016
Species affected:
Trout and other game fish.
Reason for action:
Large equipment will be utilized around Rainbow Lake from April 11 to April 15 to dig test pits and take core samples for planned construction at the lake as part of the W.T. Wooten Floodplain Management Plan (http://wdfw.wa.gov/publications/01678/wdfw01678.pdf). For safety of the general public and equipment operators, WDFW will close fishing at Rainbow Lake from April 11 through April 15.
