Changes in sport oyster seasons on public tidelands

Action: Two sport oyster fishing seasons will be adjusted to coincide with the clam seasons on those beaches

Effective Dates: Jan. 1, 2016 until further notice.

Species affected: Oysters

Locations:

Freeland County Park: Open March 1 through May 15.

Reason for action: The oyster season at Freeland County Park coincide with the clam season on this beache.
