FISHING RULE CHANGE

Action:
In Catch Record Card Areas 1, 2, 3 and 4 daily limits will change to allow retention of wild coho in daily salmon limits.
Effective date:
Sept. 4, 2015
Species affected:
Coho salmon
Location:
Marine Area 1 (Ilwaco), 2 (Westport), 3 (LaPush) and 4 (Neah Bay).
Reason for action:
Sufficient quota remains in each ocean sport sub-area coho quota to allow wild coho retention as part of daily limits.
Other information:
Daily limits for other species vary by area but remain unchanged:
The daily limit in Marine Areas 1 and 2 will be two salmon.
The daily limit in Marine Area 3 will be two salmon, only one of which may be a Chinook, plus two additional pink salmon.
The daily limit in Marine Area 4 will be two salmon, only one of which may be a Chinook, plus two additional pink salmon, release chum salmon.
