FISHING RULE CHANGE

Action:
The sport razor clam season at Kalaloch Beach will be opened on March 18, 19 and 20, 2004, during p.m. tides only. No other beach will be opened at this time.
Effective date:
March 18, 2004 through March 20, 2004.
Species affected:
Razor clams
Location:
Kalaloch Beach between Olympic National Park South Beach Campground access road and Browns Point (just south of Beach Trail #3).
Reason for action:
There are sufficient clams remaining in the state?s share of the Total Allowable Catch available for harvest on the Kalaloch Beach. Washington Department of Health tests show domoic acid levels in razor clams sampled from this area are below the action level.
