Opens sport clam season.
Effective date:
Immediately through March 15, 2014
Species affected:
All clams
Location:
Point Whitney Lagoon. This beach is located in Jefferson County, near Brinnon.
Reason for action:
Surveys indicate that the clam population on this beach has decreased, requiring an earlier season that will attract fewer harvesters.
