Action:
Sturgeon retention from the Wauna power lines (near Cathlamet) upstream to Bonneville Dam will be allowed only on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays beginning February 1 - July 31, 2004. Sturgeon may be caught and released on all other days (Sunday - Wednesday).
Effective date:
February 1 - July 31, 2004.

The Columbia River and tributaries from Wauna power lines to Bonneville Dam.
Reason for action:
The dates for retention of sturgeon are based on the 2004 sturgeon season adopted at the joint Washington-Oregon public hearing on January 15, 2004.
Other information:
Sturgeon retention on the Columbia River and tributaries downstream of the Wauna power lines will remain open seven days per week through April 30, 2004, as per permanent regulations. Size restrictions remain at a minimum of 42 inches and a maximum of 60 inches in all waters below Bonneville Dam.
