FISHING RULE CHANGE

Action:
Closes waters of Marine Area 7 east of a line from Gooseberry Point to Sandy Point for salmon fishing.
Effective Dates:
Sept. 5, 2011 through Oct. 15, 2011.
Species affected:
Salmon.
Location:
Waters east of a line from Gooseberry Point to Sandy Point.
Reason for action:
This regulation implements agreement between the department and treaty tribes to reduce potential conflict between recreational anglers and tribal fishers.
