The Washington URM Dashboard contains information regarding known or suspected unreinforced masonry (URM) buildings. The data displayed are compiled from a variety of sources, including the Department of Archeology and Historic Preservation (DAHP) Washington Information System for Architectural & Archaeological Records Data (Wissard), the City of Seattle’s URM Inventory, and additional local sources, such as County Assessor data, where applicable.
These data and the Washington URM Dashboard are not a substitute for site-specific investigations assessing whether a structure is confirmed as an URM building. Determinations regarding whether a structure is a URM building and its condition may require a site-specific investigation performed by a qualified practitioner, such as a structural engineer. The presence or absence of a building or data contained herein does not mean the structure is or is not a URM.
No warranty, expressed or implied, is made for the data and information displayed. This information is solely intended for use in examining the geographic distribution and potential of known or suspected URM buildings as requested by the Washington State Legislature within the 2018 Supplemental Capital Budget. The individuals, agencies, and organizations associated with developing this dashboard assume no liability for the information or its use.
