Comments	The LIHEAP program is locally advertised mid September, with call-ins being accepted begining of October. To be scheduled for a telephone interview email us at EAP@yvfwc.org. Include your name, address and telephone number and the time you can be reached. LIHEAP funds also serve clients with utility disconnect notices and complete shut offs on a limited basis each month, October 1, through March 15. Application mail-outs are done for qualified senior citizens and disabled applicants to accommodate transportation limitations. LIBA (Low Income Bill Assistance) program is funded by Pacific Power and assists PP&L clients with a rate reduction in their utility bill during the winter months (November-April). LIBA is advertised periodically with call-ins being accepted year-round. We can serve a maximum of 1,935 clients each program year.

Comments	The Opportunities Industrialization Center (OIC) of Washington is providing low-income households with assistance in paying their heating bills during the winter months. OIC’s funding for this program covers low-income households who live in: North Yakima County including Union Gap, Moxee, Naches, Gleed, Selah, Tieton, and West Valley. Residents of Upper Yakima Valley, you can register for an appointment by going to www.yvoic.org or call our office at 509-452-7145 for assistance. Residents of Grant and Adams County, please call (509) 765-9206 to schedule an appointment. Due to the current health pandemic, appointments will be completed over the phone. After the phone intake is completed clients will be responsible to mail in their required documentation. Please note, appointments are issued on a first come first serve basis.
