Caregiver Conference Coming in June

The 21st Annual Caregiver Conference will be held on June 2, 2014 from 9:00 am until 4:30 pm at the Tukwila Community Center. The cost to attend is $30.00 for caregivers and $50.00 for agency-based community caregivers. Space is limited so pre-registration is required.

The purpose of the conference is to provide practical information and skills that caregivers may use in their daily caregiving responsibilities. Those who might be interested in attending could be: family caregivers; in-home caregivers; adult day care, adult family home and assisted living staff and geriatric mental health service providers.

Resource exhibitors will be on hand with materials and other valuable information related to caregiving. Conference activities have been planned to allow participants to interact with exhibitors. To receive a conference brochure or register call (360) 725-2544 or 1-800-422-3263 to leave a voicemail with your name and mailing address. Brochures and registration forms will be mailed out in April. (2/11/14)
