Cost: See individual course information for cost. Students will be billed for training in their student acceptance notifications. All students are required to bring payment on the 1st day of class by either cash, check, or money order made out to WSCJTC. Qualification test failures on the 1st day of class will result in dismissal from the class and there is no refund for those failing the qualification. All students are asked to come prepared for training and qual forms are provided on the forms page for each instructor class.
Optional Qualification: The Optional Qualification is offered for the Handgun Instructor classes only to allow students the opportunity to pass the entrance qualification at a reduced fee instead of being out of pocket the full class fee that is due on Day 1. Those students that successfully complete the OQ will be admitted to the specific class they have applied for without having to take the instructor qual on the morning of the first day (their class fee will be reduced to accommodate the OQ fee already paid).

Those students unable to pass the OQ will pay the $100 OQ fee and will not be able to retest on the first day of class. Those students who did not pass will have to reapply for a later PS Handgun Instructor Cert or Recert class.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: The PS Rifle and PS Shotgun Instructor classes are blended courses with law enforcement. Please click on link in class description for full details on the training requirements and testing/qualification procedures.
