CASE MANAGEMENT ASSESSMENT PROCESS (CMAP) #1417This class is: Hosted (What does this mean?)


This class will typically connect and follow Course #1035. Preference will be given to those students that are currently enrolled in that course.This class is 40 hours in length and is designed to provide training for entry-level employees responsible for supervising juvenile offenders in a community setting. Representative job classes include but are not limited to, Juvenile Probation and Parole Officers, Juvenile Probation or Case Aides/Assistants, Trackers and Group Home Workers.

As mandated by WAC 139-10-237, this course includes the following core field supervision skills: Assessment, Motivation, Goal Setting and Action Planning as it relates to the Statewide Risk Assessment Tool and Motivational Interviewing Standards. Additional Content is included in the following areas: The Process of Change, Stages of Change, and Principles of Motivational Interviewing.

2.  Registrar processes application and sends Registration Letter to applicant's Training Manager, Agency Administrator and Supervisor listed on the application.

3.  Four (4) weeks prior to academy starting, Acceptance Letter sent to Training Manager, Agency Administrator and Supervisor listed on the application.

4.  Billing is completed after the Academy.
